However, I would be VERY, VERY hesitant about this offering.

Here in the US, there is no such thing as a functional silencer/suppressor replica.

If the thing functions as a suppressor, it is a suppressor and requires federal licensing to own.

Its almost as bad if the person "constructs" the silencer/suppressor.

I was interested in the subject myself after I heard of a US case where a man was arrested and convicted of constructing a BB gun silencer and sending to a customer.

The problem is that even though the suppressor might be intended (by the manufacturer and or owner) for use only on an airsoft gun, the device COULD be used on a real firearm.

If the device reduces the report in ANY way it COULD be called a suppressor and the owner COULD go to jail.

The fact that this product also functions as a amplifier might be its saving grace, but as I said, I would be very hesitant to own one simply for the liability issues.
