Redwolf IWA 2009 Report

RedWolf Airsoft exhibited at the IWA show in Germany from March 13 – 16th, hosting dealers and resellers from Europe.

IWA & OutdoorClassics has been the world's leading exhibition for the hunting and sporting guns, outdoor and accessories sector for over 35 years. This year saw more than 31,000 trade visitors from more than 100 nations. The international share of visitors is about 60 % - which makes IWA & OutdoorClassics in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg a truly multinational occasion for the firearms and hunting industry.

We were very happy to meet so many of you during our time at IWA. We hope that you had a chance to touch and feel some of the latest exciting products coming out in Airsoft. Notably, the ARES M200 (Cheytac) was a huge hit and everyone seemed impressed by its size and weight. We showed the tan version (as was seen in the movie SHOOTER staring Mark Walberg). Other big attractions include the fully licensed DSR1 bolt action rifle and the new ARES PGM Mini-Hectate .338 Sniper Rifle. Following in our tradition, we displayed the full line of Systema PTW’s, including the new SUPER MAX M160 M4 (retractable and fixed stock versions). Systema continues to lead the Airsoft industry with high performance rifles that meet military and police standards for heavy duty training and real steel dimensions.

From VFC, we bring you the new Knights PDW which was released late 2008.. We showed the prototype during IWA 2008 to much excitement, but now the fully functional model has been proving very popular in the last several months. VFC SCARs continued to draw a lot of attention from visitors. The VFC BAR also is a long time favorite that everyone loved to see and hold thanks to its realistic finishing and heavy weight!

Echo1’s M134 minigun also impressed visitors with its weight and detail, promising carnage to all who meet its wrath at 6000 rounds per second!

Carlton Chong (CEO of Airsoft Innovations) was also in our booth demonstrating how his hit Tornado grenade worked, and also promoted various new options soon to be available for the TORNADO, including his new spoon system. He also demonstrated his distraction device option which made a huge bang and caught everyone’s attention!

The most attention catching exhibit of all was from Airsoft Surgeon. Clarence Lai (Airsoft Surgeon himself) was on hand to share his Airsoft IPSC experience, and selected custom IPSC race pistols. Airsoft Surgeon’s Slug Shot shotgun also impressed visitors with its realism and effectiveness as a training weapon (currently used by US Navy for on-deck training).

We also exhibited the full product lines from Madbull, SOCOM GEAR, PANTAC, HURRICANE and LAYLAX. (RedWolf has recently been appointed the exclusive distributor for LAYLAX in Hong Kong, the UK, and parts of Europe).

Lots of media and press were on hand to review some of the latest products, and we give thanks to AATV, WMASG, ARMS Magazine Japan, Warsoft, 020 Magazine, Airsoft International, and many others who took the time to visit us.

We look forward to seeing everyone next year!
